Barrite - barium sulphate (BaSO4) is the heaviest of non-metallic minerals with a density of 4.45 g/cm3. 80% of total consumption of this mine in the world is used in oil drilling as well as paper, canvas, floor tarpaulin, rubber, ebonite, glass, lens, TV tube, plastic, paint, pesticides, heavy concrete production and nuclear power plants.
